Neurodivergence
Neurodivergence is not a deficit or something that needs to be changed. Rather, it reflects a different way of thinking, learning and experiencing the world. While many neurodivergent people experience incredible strengths, they may also face challenges navigating environments that weren't designed with their needs in mind.
Whether you're seeking an assessment, recently received a diagnosis, supporting a neurodivergent child, or simply looking to better understand yourself, therapy can provide a safe and supportive space to explore your experiences, recognise your strengths and develop strategies that support your wellbeing.
You may benefit from support if you're...
-
Wondering whether you or your child may be autistic or an ADHD'er
-
Seeking an Autism or ADHD assessment
-
Recently diagnosed and making sense of what it means
-
Experiencing burnout or feeling overwhelmed
-
Finding social situations exhausting or confusing
-
Struggling with emotional regulation
-
Experiencing anxiety alongside neurodivergence
-
Navigating school, work or relationship challenges
-
Wanting to better understand your strengths and support needs
-
Looking for strategies that work with your brain, not against it
How we can work together
Every neurodivergent person has their own unique strengths, challenges and experiences, which is why I believe support should always be individualised. My aim is to provide a warm, accepting and collaborative space where you feel understood, respected and able to be yourself.
Together, we'll explore your experiences with curiosity and compassion, develop a deeper understanding of how your brain works, and identify strategies that support your wellbeing, relationships and daily life. Rather than trying to change who you are, therapy focuses on helping you better understand yourself, build on your strengths and navigate life's challenges in a way that feels authentic to you.
Ready to take the next step?
Whether you're ready to organise your first session or simply exploring your options, you're welcome to reach out. If you'd like to learn more about how we might work together, I'd love to hear from you.
